How to number a list
- Paste text with one entry per line.
- Choose a starting integer, increment, and separator.
- Copy the numbered result.
Custom sequences and blank lines
Start at 10 with an increment of 10 to produce 10, 20, 30. Negative and zero increments are supported. When Skip blank lines is checked, whitespace-only lines remain unchanged and do not advance the sequence. An ending newline is preserved, without adding an extra numbered entry.
Limits and formatting
Numbers use exact integer arithmetic, with up to 30 digits for the start and increment. Input is limited to 100,000 characters. Windows and older Mac line endings are normalized to newline characters.
