How to compare two lists
- Paste one entry per line into lists A and B.
- Choose whether to trim spaces and ignore case.
- Select shared entries, entries unique to either list, or the combined set. Copy the result.
How matching works
Empty lines are skipped and repeated entries count once. With trimming enabled, whitespace-only lines are also skipped. Case-insensitive matching uses JavaScript lowercase conversion; accents and Unicode normalization are not changed. Results retain the first spelling encountered, after optional trimming.
Order and practical uses
Shared and A-only results follow list A order; B-only results follow list B order. Combined results show A entries first, then previously unseen B entries. Compare keyword inventories, product identifiers, or configuration lists. Unlike a text diff, this tool compares membership rather than line positions. It does not parse CSV columns.
